Paul, thank you for sharing your experience and thoughts on transcending entrepreneurial isolation syndrome. I have to second your opinion about paid masterminds vs the equivalent of a pick-up basketball game of masterminding. I know there are exceptions for very experienced masterminders, but for those just starting out, there is nothing like a paid mastermind group in which you know *someone* is paid to ensure the group meets, achieves goals and functions properly. I totally agree with you Paul. I actually had a face-to-face meeting with Samantha, and she totally blew me away with her insights. I consider her a marketing genius. She also inspired me. Nevertheless, what is the point of online connections if you can’t leverage them in person?

So many good things in this one video, but I’ll limit myself to commenting on just one.
Yes, it’s amazing who you can connect with, just by being a genuine and authentic admirer of theirs. I followed Bob Burg on Twitter some time ago and he followed me back – but that’s the kind of networker he is. More “listen” than “talk.” Still, he’s got a LOT of fans so I just about fell over when I realized that he had commented on my blog!
The conversation has continued (he mentioned me on his blog post today) and I look forward to seeing where it will go. All from connecting on social media.
